St. Edward Teens - S.E.T

Junior and Senior High

The purpose of the youth ministry program is to create an environment which leads junior high and high school teenagers into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and His Church. Young people are searching for the truth as well as a concrete way to go about living their lives. We are driven by the belief that Jesus Christ is "the Way, the Truth and the Life," and so we dynamically and boldly present the Gospel of Jesus Christ as passed on for 2000 years through the Catholic Church. While we place a high priority on a transforming experience of Jesus, solid formation in the Catholic Faith is also an integral part of our responsibility.

SET classes are held on the first and third Sundays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the church classrooms. See the schedule.

Confirmation classes are held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the church classroom on days listed in the schedule.

Sacramental Preparation:
  • A copy of the teen's Baptismal Certificate must be on file in the office.

  • The family must be registered with St. Edward and attend Mass regularly.

  • For Confirmation the youth must be in the 9th or 12th grade during the Confirmation year.
