The stars of perfection on Mary’s shoulders symbolize her perpetual virginity. The Greek letters ΜΡ ΘΥ stand for Mother of God. The words ΟαΓΙΟς ΙωςΗφ say Saint Joseph. Jesus’ cruciform halo contains the letters OωΝ meaning Who Am.
