Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
OCIA is the process by which an adult is initiated into the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. Through this process the adult is formed in the Christian faith, with the local parish community serving as both catechists and models, culminating in official reception into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass.
This series of classes is how non-Catholics, either never baptized or previously following another Christian faith tradition, can become a participating member of Christ’s Church.
OCIA classes are offered annually with the series beginning in the fall. If you are curious about the Catholic faith and its ancient and beautiful history or have questions please come join us!
